McKay-Dee Hospital Humanitarian Needs...

Here is a complete list of things that McKay-Dee Hospital would like donated, and THANK YOU again for all of your help and support!

Emergency Room Needs:
  • Sweats for homeless patients or patients who lost clothes through treatment (all sizes).
  • coloring and activity books
  • stickers
  • small stuffed animals (new)
Women & Baby Unit (NICU):
  • Blankets (soft yarn or fabric) size 45" square when finished
  • Baby Packets (each can include: a receiving blanket, Onesies/nightgowns, socks, toy, baby care products, etc.)
  • Baby/Mother Packet (each can include: a receiving blanket, Onesies/nightgowns, socks, toy, baby care products, things for mothers including lotions, hair products, etc.)
  • Infant Burial clothing (white only please) -may be purchased or made with a simple pattern
  • Hygeine Kits (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, sanitary pads, tooth brush, and tooth paste)
  • Baby Going Home Outfits (Preemie, Newborn, 0-3 month sizes)
  • Shampoo
  • 3/8 inch ribbon for baby hair bows
Pediatric Unit Needs:
  • Blankets (soft fabric) minimum 45" square, up to twin size
  • Children's underwear (all sizes)
  • Ladies underwear (sizes 5-10) these are for larger girls
  • Men's underwear (sizes small-medium) these are for larger boys
  • Socks (children's, ladies & men's) -these are for all sizes of children
  • White t-shirts (12 months and 2T)
  • White Onesies (size 12 months)
  • Coloring books and crayons
  • DVD's (no VHS please, as players are for DVD's)
  • Bubbles
  • Riddle Books
  • Small puzzles
  • Stickers
  • Sticker Books
  • Drawing Pads and Paper
  • Plain Color Pillow Cases (kids like to paint on them and take them home)
  • Paint sets -Tempera and Water-color (WASHABLE!)
  • Blow paints (washsable!)
  • Markers (washable!)
  • Play Dough and Clay
  • Glue and Glue Sticks
  • Character Band-Aids
  • Pattered fabric that is kid friendly to make pillow cases (no flannel please)
Diversion boxes for Pediatrics (NO candy please!)
Shoebox type -all items need to be new and fit inside the box. Boxes may be colored or decorated, if desired. Here is a sample list of things to fill in a box:
